Flight helmet I painted was a promotional flight helmet my client was giving to his sponsor during a banquet. The base color is candy apple red over silver giving it a very cool look in the sunlight. The American flag and Texas star was a challenge to render because of their small size. Sometimes a helmet design might look very simple but it is far from that when you actually have to paint it. These are progress pictures I still have a bit more work to do on this helmet to complete it.
Customized flight helmets seem to be getting more popular as this is the third one I have done this month.
