In this short airbrush video, I show you the way I have found easiest to mask a round object, in this case, a motorcycle half helmet.
I used 1-inch application or transfer tape I get from signwharehouse.com.
This is inexpensive tape, cuts very easy and is great for drawing a design out on.
The technique I show you provide a very flat, even surface to draw on (no wrinkles).
In drawing your design it is easy to ease and redraw your design if you make a mistake.
This technique avoids the potential of paint adhesion problems as you might get it your draw directly on the surface.
