Bell race helmet I designed and painted for Andrew was inspired by one of the BMW art cars.
Designs like this are time-consuming but well worth the effort when finished.
Having some sections in the colors recessed really add to the overall design, and it came out killer.
The drop shadowing in just the right spots really made this design look 3D I’M very pleased with how it turned out.
This is another example of what I call organic helmet design as it flows just great on this Bell race helmet.
Three coats clear which were wet sanded between coats provides for an ultra smooth, shinny surface.
